Inclusive Care for Every Patient

We serve children, adults, geriatric patients, and individuals with physical, developmental, and medical conditions who face challenges in traditional dental settings.

Comprehensive Under One Roof

From routine cleanings to full-mouth reconstruction — all performed with the comfort and safety of expert sedation, so you never need a referral elsewhere.

Four Levels of Sedation. One Expert Dentist Anesthesiologist.

Unlike most dental offices that refer out for sedation, Dr. Ali administers and monitors all sedation in-house — providing hospital-level safety in a comfortable dental setting.

01

Laughing Gas

A mild, inhaled sedative that creates a relaxed, euphoric feeling. You remain fully conscious and can drive yourself home afterward.

Ideal For

Mild anxiety, routine cleanings, simple extractions

02

Pill-Based Relaxation

A prescribed medication taken before your appointment that produces a deeper state of relaxation. You may feel drowsy and have little memory of the procedure.

Ideal For

Moderate anxiety, longer procedures, gag reflex issues

03

Conscious Sedation

Administered directly into the bloodstream for rapid, precise sedation. You remain in a deeply relaxed, semi-conscious state with little to no memory of treatment.

Ideal For

Significant anxiety, complex procedures, special needs patients

04

Complete Sleep Dentistry

Full unconsciousness administered and monitored by Dr. Ali, a hospital-trained dentist anesthesiologist. Allows for extensive, complex treatment in a single appointment.

Ideal For

Severe phobia, extensive treatment, medically complex patients

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer four levels of sedation: nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation (pill-based), IV sedation (conscious sedation), and general anesthesia. Dr. Ali will recommend the most appropriate option based on your anxiety level, medical history, and the complexity of your treatment.

Yes. At NOVA Dental Anesthesia, all sedation is administered and monitored by Dr. Ali, a hospital-trained dentist anesthesiologist with over 20 years of experience. Your vital signs are continuously monitored throughout every procedure, and our protocols meet the same safety standards used in hospital operating rooms.

Not necessarily — it depends on the level of sedation you choose. Nitrous oxide keeps you fully awake and relaxed. Oral sedation and IV sedation produce a deeply relaxed, drowsy state where you may have little memory of the procedure. General anesthesia is the only option that produces complete unconsciousness. Dr. Ali will help you choose the right level for your needs.

Sedation dentistry may be right for you if you experience dental anxiety or fear, have a strong gag reflex, difficulty getting numb, special needs, require extensive dental treatment, or have complex medical conditions. We welcome patients of all ages, including children, adults, and geriatric patients.
